About
A joint initiative to strengthen the cyber-resilience of critical energy infrastructure through realistic, hands-on training.
The cyber range is a controlled, high-fidelity environment where the people who protect energy infrastructure can practise against the threats they face in the real world — without any risk to live systems.
It brings together industrial-control simulation, threat detection, competitive exercises and structured learning. Rather than isolated tools, participants work inside a coherent scenario: an energy operator under attack, with the systems, telemetry and decisions that mission entails.
The programme is delivered as a partnership between the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI) and partner institutions, adapting proven training infrastructure to national needs.
