The programme is built for a range of roles across the energy sector:
- OT and control-system engineers who operate and protect industrial infrastructure.
- SOC analysts and incident responders who monitor, detect and react to threats.
- IT and network security teams working at the boundary between corporate and operational networks.
- Students and new professionals preparing for a career in critical-infrastructure security.
Participants are grouped by experience, so both newcomers and seasoned defenders find an appropriate level of challenge.

The cyber range is developed and operated by the National Institute for Research and Development in Informatics (ICI) together with partner institutions in the energy and cyber-security domains.
